Hailing from both coasts, The Cottage restaurants' owners John and Laura Wolfe were proud to bring their imaginative, contemporary coastal dining concept to a third location this spring in the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center at 47 Boylston Street. Pleasing diners in La Jolla, CA since 1992 and recently in Wellesley's Linden Square, the restaurant brings casual elegance, friendly
service and fresh menu items to those interested in light, casual dining respectful of healthy ingredients and local sources.
Culinary Director Todd Kiley is the mastermind behind The Cottage's classic and distinctive plates, known for farm-fresh ingredients and made-from-scratch sauces, sides and soups. Signature menu items include Brick Chicken, Fish Tacos, Steak Frites, Braised Short Ribs and Cedar Plank Atlantic Salmon. Kids and families are welcome to enjoy children's favorites from chicken fingers to gooey grilled cheese, all with healthier side options, too.
The Cottage's breezy, beachy decor, friendly service and distinctive food blends the casualness and
familiarity of SoCal with the sophistication and warmth of New England. Splitting time between both coasts, owner John Wolfe brings his laid-back Southern California vibe east to Chestnut Hill, not far from where co-owner Laura Wolfe grew up in Wellesley.
"The Cottage features a sophisticated menu designed to welcome you and keep you coming back," says John Wolfe. "Whether for a business lunch, friendly meet-up or family dinner, we are confident that our newest restaurant will be a distinctive and convenient dining destination in Chestnut Hill."
