Spirited Gourmet Winemaker Reception
Spirited Gourmet will hold a Winemaker Reception with Michael Affatato of Chateau La Gatte, Bordeaux on Saturday August 14th, 4 to 7pm. Located in the appellations Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superieur, Chateau La Gatte was founded in 1646. Now, taste the brand new 2009 Bordeaux Blanc, the 2006 "La Butte" and 2006 "Montalon" along with a few other surprises. New Chef at Bravo at the MFA!
Bravo at the Museum of Fine Arts welcomes its new executive chef, Peter Agostinelli. Chef Agostinelli will focus on seasonal food, using local ingredients whenever possible.
Winesdays continue at Bravo this month on Wednesday, August 25 and features an expert-led discussion on wine followed by a wine tasting with hors d'oeuvres or tapas that complement the highlighted beverage. $25 per person and includes hors d'oeuvres and tasting of featured wines. Haru will have a new cocktail special for August called the Harupolitan for $6. The Harupolitan consists of a bright medley of shochu (a distilled sake), Ty Ky Citrus Liqueur and Cointreau with fresh pineapple and orange juices...Yummy!
